SUMMARY:2nd Annual Talk Derby to Me bar crawl!
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, May 2nd is the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby!\n \nWhat better way to celebrate than with a derby crawl! Just a few bars and all showing the races! If you cannot make it to the first locations\, you can meet up with us\, or also leave early if you need to!  \n \nWe will start around 3:15 and at post time of the races we will move to a new location until the run for the roses Kentucky Derby race.\n\n\nThis just in!  Thank you to Mike Carpenter for setting up the route for our 2nd Annual Talk Derby to Me Pub Crawl! \n\nSaturday May 2\, 2026 \nThe club will be holding a Derby Day Bar Crawl in downtown Bradenton this year.  Wear your favorite Derby outfits and come cheer on your favorites as we mosey down 12th St West!! Two free parking garages on 10th St W\, just North of Manatee Ave/Rt 64 or parking anywhere along streets.  \nFIRST STOP:   3:15PM—4:00PM \nThe Loaded Barrel Tavern. 450 12th St W\, Bradenton\, FL 34205 \nSECOND STOP:  4:00PM—4:45PM \nCraftails Speakeasy.  436 12th St W\,  Bradenton\, FL 34205 \nTHIRD STOP: 4:45-5:15 \nLost Kangaroo Pub.   406 12th St W\, Bradenton\, FL 34205 \nFORTH STOP: 5:15–7:15 \nPaddy Wagon Irish Pub. 320 12th St W\, Bradenton\, FL 34205 \nMain Race Time:  6:57PM \nStaying for dinner? Check out Favs Italian Cucina\, O’Bricks Irish Pub or Oak and Stone \n\n\n\n \nPLUS…wear your derby best for the occasion AND we will have a bookie on hand to “place your bets!” PLUS….if you cannot make it\, you can place your bets online! Watch for our online “betting” coming soon as soon as we have the horses and odds! You can try and pick the winner for $5 per bet\, hold on to those tickets! Half of all bets will go toward our Sarasota Club Parrothead Reef Ball\, and the other half will be split among the winners (if no one chooses the winner\, it all goes to our charity!)\n \nStart getting your outfit ready\, try a mint julep\, and let’s have some race day phun! We will be holding tables so PLEASE let us know if you can make it!
