DESCRIPTION:Our Holiday Christmas gathering is coming up this Saturday and we will be doing things a little differently this year! The club birthday bash was a freebie\, and to keep costs down we are just asking you to pay for the performer\, and bring a side dish\, appetizer\, or dessert to share!\n \nFirst off\, the date is Saturday\, December 6th from about 5:30 to 10:00ish at the Habitat!  (609 49th St. W\, Bradenton\, FL).\n \nFeatured will be music and Christmas songs by John McDonald and the Mango Men! John will be coming for his first show at The Habitat\, bringing the Mango Men\, for a Habitat Christmas Season Kickoff!\n \nCost is $20 at the door for club members and the club will be providing a main dish and salad\, you bring a side or dessert to share\, and your drink of choice for the evening.\n \nPlease feel free to RSVP to this show if you already know you plan to attend – the suggested Donation for this show is $25 for non-members\, with VIP suggested $40. SUMMARY:Tiki Tony's House Concerts: Heather Vidal
DESCRIPTION:Heather Vidal began studying music in a classical setting as a vocal major and was a member of the #1 jazz choir in the country. Singing with the likes of Chick Corea\, Sarah Vaughn\, and other jazz greats\, she perfected her skills with melody as well as harmony. But her passion for folk\, rock\, and blues led her into live performances in bars\, festivals\, house concerts\, etc.\, as she realized music would become her career. After a three-year tour with a successful rock band\, Heather formed a duo called Copper Sky which lasted 25 years. Those years with her partner taught her how to connect on a personal level with the audience and entertain with both music and fun. Throughout her career\, she has collaborated with several musicians in a variety of genres. Little did she know that by keeping her mind open to different styles\, it would help guide her into her own songwriting. Along with her original music\, Heather has an ability to interpret other writer’s material while honoring the artist’s message. She truly “herds the cats” and commands an audience by entertaining through humor and storytelling.
