DESCRIPTION:Sauce Boss won’t be at Meeting of the Minds this year for the first time since Jimmy Buffett wrote “I Will Play for Gumbo” about him.  Sauce Boss will be at Cottonmouth in Bradenton on Jan 24 and we are working on club tables! \nCottonmouth Southern Soul Food \n1114 12th St W \n\nBradenton\, FL 34205\n\nAs you probably know\, Bill Wharton\, AKA Sauce Boss\, is the guy Jimmy Buffett sang about in his song “I Will Play for Gumbo.”  Sauce Boss played at Jimmy Buffett owned Margaritavilles in Key West and New Orleans nearly 50 times in the 1990’s and 2000’s.  In fact Jimmy Buffett himself came to several of Sauce Boss’s shows there. \nIn New Orleans\, Jimmy and his buddies came up to the stage to congratulate the band during a break.  Jimmy told Bill “Everybody wants to be me\, but I’d rather open up a bait store\, and be you.”  Bill “Sauce Boss” Wharton is now booking to support the release of his latest CD “The Sauce” which is getting incredible reviews and is currently charting on the Roots Music Charts for Florida.  You can listen and download tunes from the CD  at sauceboss.com/epk.

With story teller songs about life and love\, lyrical tales from the unique people he’s met along the way\, and of course plenty of summertime “drinkin’ at the lake tunes” with an island-inspired twist\, there’s something in a Mike Nash show for everyone to relate to.\n________________________\nOF NOTE!!! as many of you know\, The Habitat rode the northern eyewall of hurricane Milton\, and we did sustain some irreversible damage as we have lost the Habitat Tree (one of the largest Live Oaks in Bradenton\, estimated to be about 100 yrs old) – and our yard/seating area will take some time to recover.\nWe also request that you wear flat comfortable shoes\, and be cautious walking in the yard as we are still releveling everything as we recover from the storms.\nIf you are interested in helping us with recovery\, please chat with Heather\, we will be working on replanting our native flora\, and will be planting a new live oak tree of as large a size we can obtain in it’s spot when the land is ready for it.
