Events Coming Up!

Join us for this unique new event brought to you in cooperation with Eternal Reefs, The Bazaar on Apricot and Lime, and the Sarasota Bay Parrothead Club! For one day only, we will have tents set up to promote the creation of the Parrothead Reef in Key West, Florida.  Learn about Eternal Reefs and what they offer, get to know the Sarasota Bay Parrothead Club, and enjoy food, drinks and shopping at the Bazaar! Live music will be provided by Flip Flop Dave! AND…..you can purchase and paint your own mini reef ball!  All donations will benefit the Sarasota Bay PHC Reef Ball.  You may be asking yourself, what will I do with a painted reef ball?  They look great in your garden! A special conversation starter. It also makes a great toothbrush holder! OK, it may not be called Parrothead Island yet, but we are adopting and cleaning Edwards Island off the coast of Siesta Key once again starting on June 20th!   We will meet at Nora Patterson Park (946 Siesta Dr, Sarasota, FL 34242) and Depart by boat at 9:00 am for the island. Clean until 11:15 / Return 11:30 Then we will have lunch at the park with the main dish grilled by our club, everyone please bring a side or dessert to share and your own drink of choice for a picnic lunch. Enjoy the phriendship and music on a beautiful Saturday.   For those that may not be seaworthy, we need some people to stay ashore and start getting those grills and lunch ready! Looking forward to keeping Sarasota clean with our Parrothead phamily!

We will discuss what is coming, what is happening, socialize with our phriends, and there could be general shenanigans such as live music, games, charity collections, 50/50, raffles…..non-club members are welcome to come see what we are all about! Arrive around 6:00 to chat, get your food and drinks and be ready for a 6:30 start time! Welcome to the Phlock!

Get yer pirate best out of the locker and prepare for a distillery tour like ne'er before! We will be dressing as pirates and hitting several of our local distilleries aboard the Scallywag on July 18th!  Start time is noon at 1561 Lakefront Drive, #102, Sarasota with stops at Good Liquid Distillery, Siesta Key Rum, and Loaded Cannon. Cost is $40 per person with a 40 person maximum! Proceeds benefit their scholarship program.  Payment is accepted using the attached QR code, and our club gets first dibs on this trip! Start shining yer boots and sharpening yer swords.  Thar be pirates coming about!
