1. Introduction

By joining the Sarasota Bay Parrot Head Club, Inc. (SBPHC) or providing your mobile number to the club, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These terms govern our mobile messaging program, ensuring our "Party with a Purpose" stays organized and compliant with all communication standards.

2. Mobile Messaging Program

Our mobile messaging service is used to communicate "club bidness" and social events to our members.

Messages may include:

• Event Notices: Reminders for monthly "phlockings," happy hours, and special events.
• Community Service: Updates on environmental projects, beach clean-ups, and charity work.
• Membership Management: Reminders regarding annual dues, "Active Member Status," and concert ticket eligibility.

3. Message Frequency and Rates

• Frequency: You can expect to receive messages periodically, typically coinciding with our monthly meeting schedule or specific charity event deadlines.
• Costs: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

SBPHC is not responsible for any charges incurred from receiving or responding to text messages.

4. Opt-In and Opt-Out

• Opt-In: By providing your mobile number during the membership application or renewal process, you are providing express written consent to receive recurring automated and manual text messages from SBPHC.
• Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by simply replying "STOP" to any message you receive.

  After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.

  After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

• Direct Contact: You may also opt-out by contacting a member of the Board of Directors directly.

5. Support and Help

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program or have questions about your membership "coordinates," you can get help by contacting us:

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is paramount; we do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Our membership directory is for the exclusive use of club members and is protected by the Board of Directors.

7. Modifications to Terms

The SBPHC Board of Directors reserves the right to modify these terms to remain in compliance with Parrot Heads in Paradise (PHiP) guidelines and legal requirements.

Any significant changes will be communicated via our official newsletter or at a general business meeting.
